Mike Milligram tears down the highway with a violent, inhuman police force at his back, headed for the next of his brainwashed teammates. One of them has settled into life as an unassuming middle school teacher, with no memory of the work the Killjoys once did.

What that teacher starts noticing in the everyday around them is the first crack in the corporation's hold on reality. Gerard Way, Shaun Simon, and Leonardo Romero continue the road trip.
