Red-Headed Stranger: Tenth of September
Description
A City Hall security guard overhears something he was never meant to hear, and the Chameleon takes his face for it. Mayor J. Jonah Jameson wants to be photographed inside the city's new emergency command bunker, a piece of theatre designed to make him look tough on terror, and the Chameleon fully intends to be standing beside him when the shutter falls. Peter Parker, of all people, has just been offered a job in the mayor's photo unit. Spider-Man has his hands full elsewhere with a thief calling himself Slyde, while Jameson's anti-Spider task force dusts off old Spider-Slayer hardware and begins drawing the net tighter.
