Description
This digital first series first appeared as weekly chapters before being collected in print. The stories originally ran in DC's 100-Page Giant format, a line sold through Walmart, and were written for a broad, all ages friendly audience.
Across its run the title moves through several short arcs from a rotating group of creators, including writers Phil Hester, Andrew Constant, and Mark Russell with art by Tom Mandrake and Marco Santucci. Each arc returns Swamp Thing to his roots as the guardian of the Louisiana bayou and its people.
Published by DC Comics in 2020, New Roots offers accessible, self contained Swamp Thing stories for readers new to the character.
