Mark Waid and Emanuela Lupacchino revisit the original Teen Titans in this six issue limited series, a spinoff of Batman/Superman: World's Finest set in the DC Universe's past. Robin leads Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, Aqualad, Speedy, and Bumblebee as the young heroes learn to operate as a team while the world watches their every move.
The book pairs superheroics with the pressures of celebrity. The Titans manage a growing fanbase, check in with their Justice League mentors, and navigate rivalries and romances inside the team. A hidden enemy assembles a rival group of teenage villains to undermine them.
Published by DC Comics from July to December 2023, the series recalls the era before The New Teen Titans and tells its story with a Bronze Age flavor.
