1950s Comic Book Series

Comic series that began publishing between 1950 and 1959. EC's crime and horror lines led the first half of the decade until the 1954 Senate subcommittee hearings and the Comics Code Authority that publishers formed in response ended them. Output shifted to romance, westerns, war, science fiction, and funny animals, and DC's 1956 revival of the Flash opened the Silver Age. Browse every 1950s series in the catalog with its issue list, creator credits, covers, and release dates.
