Chris Claremont returns to Gambit for a five issue limited series set in the classic Uncanny X-Men era. The story picks up after Remy LeBeau brings Storm back to the scattered team, in the window before he formally joins the X-Men. A threat aimed at mutants pulls him home to New Orleans, where a hired killer forces a reckoning with his own past.
Robert Gill draws the series and Leinil Francis Yu provides the main covers. Claremont, who co-created the character, writes Gambit at the crossroads that pushed him toward the team for good.
