Hawkmoon: The Mad God (Hardcover, 2026)

Hawkmoon: The Mad God is a hardcover graphic novel from Titan Comics, the third installment in a modern comics adaptation of Michael Moorcock's fantasy cycle The History of the Runestaff. Jérôme Le Gris scripts the adaptation, with art by Benoît Dellac and color by Luca Bulgheroni.

The setting is a far-future Europe fallen under the Granbretan empire and its King-Emperor Huon. Dorian Hawkmoon, the exiled Duke of Köln, carries a black jewel embedded in his skull that threatens to claim his mind. His search for release takes him across a ravaged continent toward a distant mage.

Drawn from Moorcock's novel The Mad God's Amulet, the book sends Hawkmoon and his allies into lands where a strange cult holds power. Le Gris and Dellac render Moorcock's blend of primitive industry and dark sorcery in the painted European album tradition.
