Gammarauders (1989)

Written by Peter B. Gillis, this DC Comics series ties into TSR's Gammarauders combat game. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, it follows handlers who pilot giant mutant creatures called bioborgs in brutal arena battles. Some issues incorporated RPG mechanics and the series ran for 10 issues in 1989.
