Predator: Hunters (2017)

A five-issue Dark Horse Comics limited series published from May to September 2017, written by Chris Warner with art by Francisco Ruiz Velasco. When Enoch Nakai is recruited by a privately funded organization of former soldiers, drug runners, and FBI agents, he joins a covert team with a singular mission: turn the tables on the extraterrestrial hunters that have terrorized Earth for decades. Drawing on survivor lore and characters from earlier Predator titles in the Dark Horse catalog, the series pits a ragtag human unit against the Yautja on their own terms. For Nakai, the assignment is personal -- a chance at payback against the creatures that upended his life and left him with nothing but grievance and combat training. Warner uses the ensemble to explore what compels humans to seek out the most dangerous hunters in the galaxy rather than simply survive them.
