Description
This five-issue limited series by Geoff Johns and Dave Gibbons, with art by Patrick Gleason, ran from 2005 to 2006 and rebuilt the Green Lantern Corps after Hal Jordan's return in Green Lantern: Rebirth. With the Guardians of the Universe restored, veterans Guy Gardner, Kyle Rayner, and Kilowog train a new generation of recruits on Oa, among them the Korugarian surgeon Soranik Natu, daughter of Sinestro. As the reborn Corps finds its footing, the Lanterns face the alien Spider Guild of the Vega system in a battle to defend their homeworld. The series set up the ongoing Green Lantern Corps title and reintroduced the Corps as a galactic institution, laying character groundwork that would carry through the Sinestro Corps War and Blackest Night.
