Description
Superman: Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow? collects the two-part story by writer Alan Moore and artist Curt Swan, published in Superman #423 and Action Comics #583 in 1986. It was framed as the final tale of the pre-Crisis Superman before DC rebooted the character.
Told as a look back at the Man of Steel's last days, the story gathers his allies and enemies for one closing chapter. Lex Luthor, Brainiac, and the rest of the rogues gallery all play a part.
Curt Swan, the definitive Superman artist of the era, drew the send-off to the version of the hero he had shaped for decades.
