Description
Batman: Zero Year collects the Zero Year storyline by writer Scott Snyder and artist Greg Capullo, originally published in Batman #21 to #33 during the New 52 era. It presents a modern retelling of Batman's origin, following a young Bruce Wayne in the years before he fully becomes the Dark Knight. Early versions of the Riddler and other threats push Gotham toward disaster.
The story reimagines Batman's beginnings with a brighter, more stylized take on Gotham than earlier origin tales. It became the New 52 era's central account of how Batman came to be.
