The Long Halloween

A 13-issue limited series from DC Comics (1996 to 1997), written by Jeph Loeb with art by Tim Sale.

Set in Batman's early days, the story follows a mysterious killer named Holiday who murders people on holidays, one victim each month. The investigation involves Batman, Harvey Dent, and Commissioner Gordon as they work to bring down Gotham's crime families.

The series is set during the transition of Gotham's criminal landscape from mobsters to costumed villains.
