How to Add Items to Your Lists

Adding items to your lists is how you build out your collections on VerseDB. Whether you're tracking comics you want, ranking your favorites, or curating recommendations for others, it all starts with adding items.

Adding to Your Wishlist

The quickest way to save something for later is adding it to your default wishlist.

  1. Go to any issue, series, character, creator, story arc, or team page
  2. Look for the heart icon or Add to Wishlist button
  3. Click it and you're done

Your wishlist lives at versedb.com/dashboard/lists and is always private by default.

Adding to a Custom List

If you have custom lists, you can add items to those instead.

  1. On the item's page, look for the Add to List option
  2. Pick which list you want to add it to
  3. Optionally add a note about why it's on the list
  4. For issues with variants, you can pick a specific cover
Note
Each list only holds one type of item. An issue list can only contain issues, a character list can only contain characters, and so on.

Adding Notes

When you add an item to a list, you can include a personal note (up to 500 characters). Notes are great for reminding yourself why something made the list or for providing context to people viewing your public lists.

Picking Variants

For issue lists, you can specify which cover variant you want. This is helpful if you're tracking a specific incentive cover or store exclusive rather than just the standard cover.

Tip
Items can only appear once per list. If it's already there, you'll see a "Remove" option instead.
Tip
Creating a new list? Head to your lists page and click "Create New List" first.
