What Public Means

When a list is public:

  • Anyone can view it, even without an account
  • It shows up in search results and list discovery
  • Other users can save it, like it, and leave reviews
  • Your public lists appear on your profile

Public list URL format: versedb.com/user/yourusername/lists/your-list-slug

What Private Means

When a list is private:

  • Only you can see it
  • It won't appear in search or discovery
  • Others can't save, like, or review it
  • It won't show on your public profile

Sharing Your Lists

To share a public list:

  1. Go to the list page
  2. Copy the URL from your browser
  3. Send it to friends, post it on social media, or add it to your bio
Tip
If someone says your link doesn't work, double check that the list is still set to public.

Your Default Wishlist

Your wishlist is private by default. This is intentional since most people use it as a personal want list. You can make it public if you want to share it with friends or use it for gift ideas.
