When you finally get your hands on a comic that was on your wishlist or another list, you can move it directly to your Collection. This keeps your lists focused on what you still want while your Collection tracks what you actually own.
Note
Only **issues** can be moved to your Collection. Series, characters, creators, story arcs, and teams don't have Collection equivalents since the Collection is specifically for tracking comics you own.
How to Do It
- Go to the list containing the issue
- Find the issue you now own
- Click the Move to Collection button (looks like a box or archive icon)
- The issue gets added to your Collection and removed from the list
You can also do this from the issue's detail page if you prefer.
What Happens Next
Once an issue is in your Collection, you can:
- Add details like condition, purchase price, and notes
- Track specific variants you own
- Mark it as read or unread
- Include it in your collection statistics
Made a Mistake?
If you moved something by accident:
- The issue is now in your Collection, so you can find it there
- If you still want it on a list, just add it back manually
- Removing it from your Collection is a separate action
Tip
Use this workflow to keep your wishlist clean and accurate. For "Best of" rankings or themed lists, moving to Collection doesn't apply since those serve a different purpose.
