New Warriors
The New Warriors are a Marvel Comics team of teenage and young-adult heroes, often seen as a junior counterpart to the Avengers. Created by Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz, they debuted in 1989 with a lineup that included Night Thrasher, Nova, Firestar, Speedball, Namorita, and Marvel Boy. Across multiple volumes the roster has shifted, but the team is defined by younger heroes finding their footing. One of their later incarnations played a central role in sparking the Civil War event.
