Rokk Krinn is a native of the planet Braal, where all inhabitants possess natural magnetic abilities. Stronger than most of his kind, he traveled to Earth in the 30th century and helped save industrialist R.J. Brande from assassins alongside two fellow passengers. That act led to the founding of the Legion of Super-Heroes, with Rokk taking the name Cosmic Boy as one of the team's three charter members.
