Description

Detective Sam Burke is a New York City police detective and the senior half of the Burke and Williams partnership in Todd McFarlane's Spawn universe. Heavyset, cynical, and bluntly aggressive where his partner Twitch is methodical, he is nonetheless a capable and persistent investigator. He first appeared in Spawn #1 in 1992 alongside Twitch Williams and has been a recurring figure in the series' long-running examination of crime and corruption in New York.
