Dave King

Sergeant Dave King is the protagonist of King of the Royal Mounted, a comic strip adaptation of Zane Grey's Western novels distributed by King Features Syndicate. A member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, King patrols the frontier on horseback, pursuing criminals and maintaining order across the Canadian wilderness. The strip debuted in 1935 and ran across newspaper comics, comic books, and other media for decades.
