Toots is the only girl among the nine core pupils of the Bash Street Kids in The Beano. A tomboyish character with a competitive streak, she is particularly skilled at football and has been shown outplaying all the boys in her class. Her full name is Sydney Kate Pye, and she is the twin sister of Sidney, born three minutes before him. The Bash Street Kids has appeared in The Beano since 1954.
