Biography

Masakazu Katsura is a Japanese manga artist known for science fiction and romance stories serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. His debut work Wing-Man ran from 1983 to 1985. He gained wide recognition with Video Girl Ai (1989-1992) and I"s (1997-2000), both of which were adapted for animation. He is known for his friendship and occasional collaboration with manga artist Akira Toriyama, who credited him with contributing ideas to Dragon Ball.
