Biography
Alan Payne is a comics industry sales and marketing executive. He worked in publishing and editorial roles in the late 1980s at Entropy Enterprises and Palliard Press before moving into sales. He served as head of the book trade at TokyoPop from around 2000 to 2006, then joined Dynamite Entertainment in 2006 as vice president of sales and marketing. From roughly 2006 to 2015 he was also vice president of sales at IDW Publishing, overseeing the company's bookstore market operations.
