Sol Brodsky
Biography
Sol Brodsky (1923-1984) was an American comic artist and production manager whose behind-the-scenes work helped shape Marvel during its Silver Age growth. He began in the early 1940s at Timely, inking and drawing across genre titles, and returned to Marvel in 1964 as production manager. With letterer Artie Simek he co-designed the classic Amazing Spider-Man logo and other lasting Marvel logos. He later served as a vice president overseeing special projects and brand expansions.
