Lee Elias

Lee Elias was a British-born artist who emigrated to the United States and broke into comics in 1943 at Fiction House and Timely Comics. He became best known for drawing Harvey Comics' Black Cat, a stuntwoman crimefighter title praised for its clean, dynamic storytelling. From 1947 onward he contributed to DC Comics across superhero, science fiction, war, and mystery titles for nearly three decades, before later working at Marvel and Warren Publications.
