George Kashdan
Biography
American writer and editor who joined DC Comics in 1947 and became story editor on Action Comics. He co-launched the Aquaman ongoing series in 1962 with artist Nick Cardy and devised the villain Metamorpho, while also writing extensively for DC's mystery and war anthologies. After leaving DC in 1968 he wrote long runs on Gold Key's The Twilight Zone, Flash Gordon, and Star Trek, plus scripts for animated television.
