American comics artist (1920–2003) who began his career as a Disney animator before joining Western Publishing in 1948. He became one of the most prolific artists for Dell and Gold Key comics, drawing thousands of pages featuring licensed characters from Disney, Looney Tunes, Hanna-Barbera, and Walter Lantz over more than three decades.
