Charles Alfred Taliaferro was an American Disney comics artist best known for his decades-long run on the Donald Duck newspaper strip. He joined Walt Disney Productions in 1931, lettering the Mickey Mouse strip, and began drawing the Donald Duck daily strip at its launch in 1938. He was the first artist to draw Donald Duck in comics and co-created characters including Huey, Dewey, and Louie and Grandma Duck. He continued on the strip until his death in 1969.
