Biography
David Aja is a Spanish comics artist born in Valladolid in 1977. He studied fine arts at the University of Salamanca and began professional illustration work in Barcelona in 2000. He is best known for his collaboration with writer Matt Fraction on The Immortal Iron Fist and Hawkeye at Marvel. His design-forward page layouts and cover work on Hawkeye earned him multiple Eisner Awards, including Best Penciler/Inker and Best Cover Artist.
