Description
Dirk Morgna is Sun Boy, a Legionnaire who possesses the ability to generate and project intense heat and light, first appearing in Action Comics #276 in 1961. Created by Jerry Siegel and Jim Mooney, he gained his powers after being accidentally exposed to a nuclear reactor and is one of the more charismatic and outgoing members of the Legion of Super-Heroes. He has appeared across the team's many eras and continuities and has occasionally taken leadership roles within the Legion.
