Saturn Girl

Saturn Girl is a DC Comics superhero created by Otto Binder and Al Plastino. She first appeared in Adventure Comics #247 (1958) as one of the three founding members of the Legion of Super-Heroes.

Imra Ardeen is a native of Saturn's moon Titan, where all inhabitants possess telepathic abilities. She traveled to Earth in the 30th century and co-founded the Legion alongside Lightning Lad (Garth Ranzz) and Cosmic Boy (Rokk Krinn) after the three young heroes foiled an assassination attempt on the life of billionaire R.J. Brande.

Saturn Girl is one of the most powerful telepaths in the DC Universe's future timeline. She can read minds, project thoughts, create mental illusions, and even control the actions of others. She has served as Legion leader on multiple occasions and her marriage to Lightning Lad is one of the team's central relationships. She is consistently portrayed as composed, selfless, and willing to sacrifice herself for her teammates.
