Bishop

Lucas Bishop is a mutant from a dystopian 22nd-century future who traveled back in time and joined the X-Men. He is marked by a distinctive "M" brand over his right eye, a relic of a society that persecuted mutants.

Bishop's mutant ability allows him to absorb kinetic and radiant energy, then redirect it as concussive blasts. His military training in the future made him a disciplined combatant and tactician.

He has operated as both an X-Men member and an antagonist at different points, most notably during his pursuit of Cable and the infant Hope Summers across time.
