Description
A five-issue Marvel Comics limited series from 2024-2025, written by Steve Foxe with pencils by Edgar Salazar, inks by Victor Nava, and colors by Carlos Lopez. Colonial Marshals Dash Nanda and Lydia Reeves are dispatched to Paradiso, a secluded island colony with a tropical climate and a population of hyper-wealthy criminals living beyond the reach of conventional law. What looks like a routine smuggling bust turns catastrophic when a Xenomorph outbreak tears through the resort, a chestburster loose among the idle rich and the overworked staff who serve them. Foxe filters the classic Alien premise through a setting of extreme wealth inequality, while portions of the story are rendered from the Xenomorph's own perspective -- an unusual formal choice that reframes the horror by lending the creature an unsettling interiority. Salazar and Lopez handle both the resort's sun-bleached surfaces and its violent descent with equal confidence.
