Description
Bastion is a mutant-hunting entity in Marvel Comics created from the merged consciousness of the Sentinel Master Mold and the time-displaced Sentinel Nimrod, first appearing in X-Men #52 in 1996. Created by Scott Lobdell and Andy Kubert, he was the central antagonist of the Operation Zero Tolerance crossover in 1997, which saw the US government authorize a campaign against mutants under his direction. He returned as a villain in later X-Men crossovers including the Second Coming storyline.
