Brer Fox

Brer Fox is a cunning anthropomorphic fox from the Uncle Remus folktales, rooted in African-American oral traditions of the American South and popularized in print by Joel Chandler Harris in the 19th century. He serves as the primary antagonist to Brer Rabbit, devising elaborate traps and schemes to catch his elusive rival. The character later appeared in Disney comics and the 1946 animated film Song of the South.
