Fury Max (2012)

An old Nick Fury recalls his decades of covert work across the major conflicts of the 20th century, from Indochina and the Bay of Pigs to Vietnam and the Contra War in Nicaragua. Written by Garth Ennis with art by Goran Parlov under Marvel's MAX imprint, the series plays as a hard-edged, historically grounded war story. Frank Castle appears as a young Marine in the Vietnam arc.
