Description
Twelfth issue of the original Avengers run, written by Stan Lee with art by Don Heck and a Jack Kirby cover. The Mole Man, returning from defeats at the hands of the Fantastic Four, has built an atomic gyroscope that can dial the rotation of the Earth up or down at his command. An ant colony catches wind of the plan and tries to warn Giant-Man, who in turn pushes a doubtful Avengers roster to take the threat seriously alongside the visiting Red Ghost.
