After a string of frustrating encounters with men who take her heroics for granted, a fed-up Supergirl flies off alone and stumbles on Queen Hippolyta and Nubia under attack at sea. Grateful for the rescue, Hippolyta invites Kara to join the Amazons as an honorary daughter.

When Nubia is gravely wounded, Supergirl volunteers for a dangerous mission to a hidden island to retrieve the only cure in time.
