1990s Comic Book Series

Comic series that began publishing between 1990 and 1999. Seven artists left Marvel to found Image Comics in 1992, speculation pushed print runs to record highs, and the market then contracted hard enough that Marvel filed for bankruptcy in 1996. Foil covers, polybags, and a constant supply of #1 issues define what shipped. Browse every 1990s series in the catalog with its issue list, creator credits, covers, and release dates.

1990s FAQ

Why are most 1990s comics worth so little?
Print runs were enormous. Speculation drove orders far past actual readership, so most 1990s issues survive in large numbers and in high grade. Scarcity sets value, and there is very little of it here.
Which series launched with Image in 1992?
The first wave included Spawn, Youngblood, WildC.A.T.s, Savage Dragon, and Cyberforce. Each is a separate series entry with its full issue list and creator credits.
What happened to the market late in the decade?
Orders collapsed after the 1993 peak, thousands of shops closed, and Marvel filed for bankruptcy in 1996. Noticeably fewer new series launched in the back half of the decade as a result.
