Pirates of Dark Water (1991)

Pirates of Dark Water is a limited comic series centered on Ren, the son of King Primus, who embarks on a quest to find the Thirteen Treasures of Rule. These treasures hold the key to stopping the Dark Water, a spreading menace threatening the alien world of Mer. Ren faces opposition from Bloth, a ruthless pirate seeking the treasures for his own sinister goals.
