All-Star Squadron (1981)

All-Star Squadron was a DC Comics series set during World War II, following a team assembled by President Roosevelt from every active superhero after Pearl Harbor. Written by Roy Thomas and running from 1981 to 1987, the series incorporated Golden Age DC characters into a shared wartime narrative set on Earth-Two. The title is credited with the first published use of the term 'retcon.'
