Control who can see your collection items with privacy settings. You can make items public for the community to see or keep them private for your eyes only.
Public vs Private

Both public and private items are counted in your personal stats.
Setting Privacy
When Adding Items
By default, new items added to your collection are set to Public. You can change this immediately using the "Add & Edit" option.
For Existing Items
- Go to your Collection
- Click on the item you want to update
- Select Edit
- Find the "Is Public" checkbox in the Basic Details section
- Uncheck to make private, check to make public
- Save your changes
Why Use Private?
Tip

- Security - Don't want to advertise valuable items
- Privacy - Prefer to keep collection details personal
- Incomplete data - Haven't finished entering details yet
- Temporary - Planning to sell and don't want public record
Note
- Consider keeping high-value graded books private for security
- Use public for items you're willing to discuss or trade
- You can change privacy settings at any time
- Private items still appear in your own collection view and stats
