Marking a Comic as a Variant
- Open the edit screen for your collection item
- Check the Is Variant checkbox
- Additional fields will appear
Linking to Database Variants
If the variant exists in the VerseDB database, a variant selector will appear. Choose the specific variant cover from the list to link your item to the official variant record.

Variant Description
Add additional details about your specific variant: artist name, store or convention name, special features (foil, virgin cover, etc.).

Tip
Yellow Label (CGC Signature Series) commands the highest premium for signed books. Always note who signed the comic in the notes field. Unwitnessed signatures typically don't add as much value as witnessed ones.

Store exclusives often appreciate in value - record the store name in the variant description.
