Track the condition and professional grading information for your comics. This is essential for collectors who want to document the quality and value of their collection.

Accessing the Edit Screen

  1. Go to your Collection
  2. Click on any item
  3. Select Edit to open the details screen

Condition Grades

Record the condition of your comic using the standard CGC grading scale:

Grade Name Description
MT 10.0 Gem Mint Perfect in every way
NM/MT 9.8 Near Mint/Mint Nearly perfect
NM+ 9.6 Near Mint+ Minor imperfections
NM 9.4 Near Mint Minor wear
NM- 9.2 Near Mint- Slight wear
VF/NM 9.0 Very Fine/Near Mint Light wear
VF 8.0 Very Fine Minor wear, flat
FN 6.0 Fine Moderate wear
VG 4.0 Very Good Shows wear
G 2.0 Good Substantial wear
PR 0.5-1.8 Poor/Fair Heavy damage

Record which printing you own: 1st Printing through 10th Printing, or Other for later printings.

First printings are typically the most valuable.

Professional Grading

If your comic has been professionally graded:

  1. Check the Graded checkbox
  2. Select the Grading Company (CGC, CBCS, PGX, Other)
  3. Enter the Grade Score (e.g., 9.8)
  4. Enter the Certification Number from the label

Even ungraded comics benefit from having a condition recorded. Use the certification number to verify authenticity on the grading company's website.
