Canceling and Reactivating Your Subscription

Canceling stops the next charge. You keep PRO access until the end of your current billing period — after that, PRO features turn off. Your data is never deleted.

How to Cancel#

  1. Go to versedb.com/subscription
  2. Scroll to the bottom and click Cancel Subscription
  3. Confirm

You'll get a cancellation confirmation email immediately. Your status changes to Canceled, but all PRO features stay active until the period you already paid for ends.

What Happens When PRO Expires#

PRO-only display and export features turn off:

  • PRO badge removed
  • Custom avatars revert to default; custom banners removed
  • CSV and PDF exports disabled
  • Bulk read/unread actions disabled
  • AI Discovery Assistant disabled
  • Market data and FMV features disabled
  • API rate limits drop to free tier
  • Ads reappear
  • Discord PRO role removed
  • Custom lists beyond the free limit (10 lists × 100 items) become read-only

Always preserved: your profile, all collections and reading history, reviews and ratings, pull lists, wishlists, every edit you've contributed — nothing is deleted.

Tip

Before you cancel, export your pull list and collection as CSV or PDF while you still have PRO access.

Reactivating#

Still in your grace period (canceled but not yet expired) — go to the subscription page and click Resume Subscription. Billing resumes on the original date; no interruption.

Already expired — click Subscribe to PRO, pick monthly or yearly, and enter payment info. PRO features activate immediately. Any lists or features that became read-only unlock again.

FAQ#

Refund on cancel? No — you keep full PRO access until your period ends, but there's no refund for unused time.

Does canceling touch my pull lists, collection, or XP? No — they're all preserved. You just lose export access and display perks.

Can I pause instead of cancel? VerseDB doesn't offer a pause. Canceling is the closest equivalent — your data stays, you can resume any time.
