How to Cancel Your Subscription

  1. Navigate to your Subscription page
  2. Scroll to the bottom
  3. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  4. Review the cancellation information
  5. Click "Confirm Cancellation"
  6. Receive confirmation email

What Happens After Cancellation

  • Subscription status changes to "Canceled"

Reactivating Your Subscription

Resuming a Canceled Subscription

If you canceled but your billing period hasn't ended:

  1. Go to your Subscription page
  2. Click "Resume Subscription"
  3. Confirm you want to resume billing
  4. Subscription reactivates immediately
  5. Receive confirmation email

What Happens:

  • Cancellation is reversed
  • Billing resumes on next scheduled date
  • PRO features continue without interruption
  • Same billing date and plan as before

Resubscribing After Expiration

If your subscription has fully expired:

  1. Visit your Subscription page
  2. Click "Subscribe to PRO"
  3. Choose your plan (Monthly or Yearly)
  4. Enter payment information
  5. Click "Subscribe"
  6. PRO features activate immediately

What Happens:

  • New subscription starts fresh
  • New billing date (today)
  • All previous data is restored
  • Collection sets and tier lists 3+ become editable again

**Monthly Subscription:** Cancel soon after being charged to maximize the month you paid for.

Yearly Subscription: Anytime is fine since you keep access until year ends. You already paid for the full year.


Tips Before Canceling

  1. Pull Lists - Go to Pull Lists, click "Export," save as CSV/PDF/Excel
  2. Collections - Export each collection set while PRO is active
  3. Wishlists - Take screenshots or export as backup

Do this before your subscription ends since exports are a PRO feature.


Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a refund if I cancel? No, VerseDB does not provide refunds for unused time. However, you keep full PRO access until the end of your billing period.

What happens to my custom avatar after I cancel? It remains visible until subscription expires, then reverts to default. The file is preserved and reappears if you resubscribe.

Will my pull lists be deleted? No, pull lists are never deleted. You can still view and manage them, but you won't be able to export them.

What happens to collection sets over the 2-set limit? Sets 3+ become view-only. You can view them but can't add/remove/edit. They're preserved and become editable again if you resubscribe.

Will canceling affect my XP or contributor level? No, your XP, contributor level, and all account metrics remain unchanged.
