VerseDB offers two PRO subscription options with identical features:
Monthly Plan
- Price: $6/month
- Billing: Charged monthly on your signup date
- Best for: Users who want flexibility
Yearly Plan ⭐ RECOMMENDED
- Price: $60/year
- Savings: Save $12/year (equivalent to 2 months free)
- Billing: Charged once annually on your signup date
- Best for: Committed users who want the best value
Both plans include the same PRO features and benefits.

Billing Cycle
How Billing Works
Monthly Subscriptions
- First charge: Immediately upon subscribing
- Recurring charges: Same day each month (your signup date)
- Example: If you subscribe on March 15, you'll be charged on the 15th of every month
Yearly Subscriptions
- First charge: Immediately upon subscribing
- Recurring charges: Once per year on your original signup date
- Example: If you subscribe on March 15, 2025, your next charge is March 15, 2026
Billing Notifications
You'll receive email notifications:

- ✅ Receipt after each successful payment

Accessing Subscription Management
Method 1: Dashboard Menu
- Log in to your VerseDB account
- Click on your profile/avatar
- Navigate to Dashboard
- Click "Subscription" in the left navigation menu
Method 2: Direct URL
- Visit https://versedb.com/subscription while logged in
What You Can View
On your subscription page, you'll see:
- Current plan type (Monthly or Yearly)
- Subscription status (Active, Canceled, Incomplete Payment)
- Next billing date and amount
- Active PRO features
- Options to switch plans or cancel
Switching Plans
You can switch between monthly and yearly billing at any time without losing access.
How to Switch Plans
- Go to your Subscription page
- Under "Switch Your Plan," you'll see the alternative plan option
- Review the savings information (yearly saves $12/year)
- Click "Switch to Yearly" or "Switch to Monthly"
- Confirm your selection when prompted
What Happens When You Switch
Switching to Yearly (from Monthly):
- You're charged $60 immediately
- Your next billing date changes to one year from now
- You save $12 compared to 12 months of monthly billing
Switching to Monthly (from Yearly):
- Change takes effect at your next billing cycle
- No immediate charge
- You'll be charged $6/month starting from your next billing date
Cancellation Policy
How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- Go to your Subscription page
- Scroll to the bottom
- Click "Cancel Subscription" button
- Confirm your decision when prompted
After Cancellation
What happens:
- ✅ Your PRO benefits continue until the end of your current billing period
- ✅ You'll receive a cancellation confirmation email
- ✅ No more automatic charges will occur
- ❌ No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of your subscription
Billing period examples:
- Monthly: If you cancel on March 20 and your billing date is March 15, you keep PRO until April 15
- Yearly: If you cancel in month 3 of your yearly subscription, you keep PRO for the remaining 9 months
Reactivating After Cancellation
You can reactivate your subscription at any time:
- Go to your Subscription page
- Click "Resume Subscription" or choose a new plan
- Complete the payment process
- Your PRO features are restored immediately
Frequently Asked Questions
Do prices include taxes?
Displayed prices do not include applicable taxes, which may vary by location. Taxes (if applicable) will be calculated and shown at checkout before payment.
When will I be charged?
- First payment: Processed immediately upon subscribing
- Recurring payments: Occur on your billing date (monthly or yearly)
- Plan switches: May result in immediate charges or credits
How do I update my payment method?
- Go to your Subscription page
- Look for "Update Payment Method" or payment card section
- Enter your new credit card information
- Click "Save" to update your payment details
Your next charge will use the updated payment method.
What happens if my payment fails?
If a payment fails:
- We'll retry – Stripe automatically attempts to process your payment again
- You're notified – You'll receive an email alert about the failed payment
- Grace period – Your subscription remains active for a brief period while we resolve payment issues
- Update required – Update your payment method to avoid service interruption
How to resolve:
- Update your payment method on the Subscription page
- Ensure your card has sufficient funds
- Contact your bank if the card is being declined
- Contact VerseDB support if issues persist
Can I get a refund?
No partial refunds are provided for:
- Unused portions of subscriptions
- Cancellations mid-billing cycle
- Switching from yearly to monthly
You will receive:
- Continued PRO access until the end of your paid period
- The ability to use all PRO features until billing period ends
What currencies are supported?
Currently, VerseDB PRO subscriptions are priced in USD (United States Dollars). International cards are accepted, but your bank may charge currency conversion fees.
Can I pay with PayPal or other methods?
Currently, VerseDB only accepts credit and debit cards processed through Stripe. We're exploring additional payment methods for the future.
Will my subscription auto-renew?
Yes, all subscriptions automatically renew:
- Monthly: Renews every month on your billing date
- Yearly: Renews every year on your anniversary date
You'll receive an email reminder before each renewal. You can cancel anytime to prevent future charges.

"Payment Declined"
- Verify your card information is correct
- Ensure your card has sufficient funds
- Check with your bank for security holds
- Try a different payment method
"Subscription shows as Inactive"
- Check for incomplete payment status
- Complete any pending payments
- Try logging out and back in
- Contact support if issue persists
"Not seeing PRO features"
- Verify your subscription is active on the Subscription page
- Log out and back in to refresh your session
- Clear your browser cache
- Contact support if features don't appear
