Managing Your VerseDB Subscription

Your subscription dashboard at versedb.com/subscription is where you manage everything — plan, payment method, cancellations, and billing history.

Subscription Status#

Status Meaning
Active Billing normally — you can switch plans, update payment, or cancel
Canceled Won't renew. PRO access continues until the billing period ends
Expired PRO features disabled. Subscribe again to restore
Incomplete Payment Most recent payment failed. Update payment method to retry

What the Dashboard Shows#

  • Plan — type (monthly or yearly), start date, next billing date, next charge amount
  • Payment method — last 4 digits, card brand, expiration
  • Billing history — every past invoice with date, amount, status, and a receipt PDF to download

Emails You'll Receive#

Email When
Subscription confirmation Immediately after subscribing
Payment receipt After each successful charge
Renewal reminder A few days before auto-renewal
Payment failed When a charge fails
Cancellation confirmation When you cancel

Note

Subscription emails (receipts, failure alerts, confirmations) can't be disabled — they're required for billing transparency.

What's Stored and Preserved#

Stripe holds full card details. VerseDB only stores the last 4 digits, brand, expiration, and your billing ZIP.

Your account data — collections, pull lists, wishlists, lists, reviews, XP, level — is preserved forever regardless of subscription status. Canceling removes PRO-only display features and export access but never touches your data.

Need Help?#

Email [email protected] with the subject "Subscription Support" and include your account email, a description of the issue, any steps you've already tried, and an invoice number or screenshot if relevant. Response is typically within 24–48 hours.
