Description
Hellboy is a paranormal investigator created by Mike Mignola, first appearing in 1993. Summoned from Hell as an infant by Nazi occultists and rescued by Allied forces, Hellboy was raised by Professor Trevor Bruttenholm and became an agent of the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense. With his demonic appearance, stone right hand, and practical attitude, Hellboy investigates occult mysteries and battles supernatural threats, blending horror, mythology, folklore, and pulp adventure.
