Rick Veitch
A 1978 graduate of the Joe Kubert School, Rick Veitch started in mainstream comics with short stories for DC and worked through the 1980s on Swamp Thing with Alan Moore. He later founded King Hell Press and created Brat Pack and Army@Love.
