Description
Marvel takes up Edgar Rice Burroughs's jungle lord with Roy Thomas scripting and John Buscema on art. Most issues adapt the original Tarzan novels, following the ape-raised John Clayton through lost cities, treasure, and the wilds of Africa. Buscema's lush figure work gives the Bronze Age run a sweeping, classic-adventure feel.
